ELECTION FINANCE AND CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA – An Investment Theory Approach

Public sector corruption is a major bane of democracy, particularly in emerging democracies. While the scourge of this malignant cancer is being reasonably contained in most advanced democracies, it is spreading rather rapaciously in emerging democracies. To say that public sector corruption is a serious threat to democracy in Third World countries is an understatement.
